Dr. Nancy K. Frantz founded the Milton Veterinary Hospital in 1989.
She is a graduate of Penn State University and the University of Pa. Veterinary School. As owner and practicing veterinarian of a busy and ever-growing practice, she makes it her personal goal to continue enjoying her work. Extra curricular activities include spending quality time with her family, waterskiing, running, gardening and travel. |
Dr. Alison Harris joined MVH in 2002 but is not unfamiliar to the practice since her rotation at Milton in 1996. We welcome her knowledge and compassion as she continues to broaden her skills in companion animal medicine.
An outdoor enthusiast (running, hiking, waterskiing and skiing); she also enjoys cooking and good book.
Dr. Nicole van Harreveld happily joined the MVH team in 2007. A North Carolina native, she hides her country accent well and thoroughly enjoys living in Vermont with her husband and two children. She has special interest in reproduction and breeding as well as in behavior and training. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys any amount of peace and quiet (a rare commodity in a house with toddlers), reading, gardening, Geocaching and trying to keep up with her canine companion “Briar” – a very active Vizsla.
Dr. Paula Gamache is a relief veterinarian who has been familiar to MVH since 1998. She enjoys a special interest in opthalmology and rabbit medicine /surgery.
An accomplished gardener and avid reader, she also enjoys fine dining and travel.
Having lived with several Bullmastiffs (a favored breed) she recently brought home this bullmastiff mix puppy named "Gus".
Dr. Rachel M. Brodlie is a graduate of Tufts University and comes to us with an extensive background in wildlife conservation research that has taken her as far as the West African Elephant Conservation in Burkina Faso, Africa.
A member of Veterinarians for Global Solutions; she is also fluent in both French and Italian and enjoys painting, gardening and hiking.

She proudly boasts title of "hockey mom" for 2 great (recreationally busy) kids and still finds time to volunteer at their school.
Lucy came to work at MVH in 1995 with a B.S. from UVM and has a special interest in animal behavior and canine obedience training. She would eventually like to participate in training for search and rescue with Newfoundland dogs. Her current canine companion (a Newfoundland named "Gracie") thinks this is a good idea.
Married with 2 children, Lucy enjoys photography, mountain biking, backpacking, skiing and running.
Cindy is a Vermont Certified Veterninary Technician with a B.S. from UVM and has been with MVH since 1998. With an interest in anesthesia and critical care; her objective is to acquire a specialty in those fields.
She's an accomplished horseback rider (dressage) and also enjoys hiking, skiing and being a beach bum.
Her canine companion "Dozer" is a bullmastiff that she acquired from Bullmastiff Rescue.
Margie has been with MVH since 2000 and attended NAVC in 2004. She enjoys general patient care with an interest in dentistry and would like to become Vermont certified in the future.
She would love to someday own a sailboat as well as deal in real estate investments and likes to shoot pool with her friends.
Terry has been with MVH since 2001 and in 2005 acheived her Vermont certification.
With interests in both surgery and animal behavior, she would also like to specialize in physical therapy.

Donna joined the Milton group in October of 2004.
Along with her affiliations with the Franklin County Humane Society, she has literally fostered dozens of homeless rescue dogs and cats. She currently shares her home with 6 cats and 2 dogs (all of which were rescue animals that she just couldn't let go).
